		<description>i tend to think that nice things done by strangers are nicer than nice things done by people you know.

i&#039;ve been on both ends of stranger niceness. i&#039;ve felt the rush of faith in the world at large that comes from the simple act of a *complete* stranger taking the time do do something nice. and having experienced that, it makes me pretty happy to be able to give some stranger the chance to feel the same thing.  i wish that perpetuating hope like that could be my full time job. 

there are skeptics of course (as well as just jerks), and there always will be. but i hold out hope that one day some random act of niceness will come out of nowhere and just knock them over with amazement.
